Frequently Asked Questions

Are you accepting new patients or walk-ins?

Yes, always! We love caring for people and currently have room for new patients on our schedule. To get on the schedule just call or click here to set up your initial appointment with us today! And if you think of any questions that you can’t find answers to on our site, feel free to bring them to your appointment.

Do you take insurance?

Yes we do! We also accept HSA & FSA funds. Call or stop in today to find out more and how we can help you make the most of your coverage. Additionally, you can check out our membership programs designed to maximize the value for our patients and in some cases have turned out to be less costly than the patient’s insurance.

Do you offer any convenience packages or visit sharing?

Yes, in fact our concierge program is designed for just that! We offer a range of coverage that allows you to use your flexible appointments with the care-free benefit of not needing to pay on the way out. Additionally when you add more family members to a concierge plan you’re able to take advantage of visit sharing. Visit sharing allows a family member with fewer needs to share their visits with an achy or injured family member in greater need, without the greater expense.

Are there special rates for children or families?

Yes there are! We offer special plans and memberships to help our larger groups and families get the care they need. Having come from large families ourselves we understand the difficulties that can arise when going to the doctor. So come take advantage of our low cost family plan and ‘$0.00 out of pocket’ expenses for children under two years of age.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes, we offer discounts through our memberships on almost all of our services. With the restrictive and rising costs of insurance coverage, many consumers are not aware that our membership pricing can cost even less than their insurance deductibles!

Why did you choose to offer memberships?

After seeing first hand how difficult or limiting it can be for patients to receive the care they needed, I wanted to find a way to give that control back to them, at a cost they could afford, with added value that the insurance companies couldn’t compete with. Every insurance company dictates the terms of your care through cost controls, visit limits, or service denials. Membership helps take the power out of their hands and puts it back into the patient’s.

What is chiropractic and why is it important?

Chiropractic is a special branch of healthcare that focuses on treating spinal and other joint misalignments that cause irritation or interference to the body’s control network, the nervous system. These misalignments are called subluxations, and they interfere with the body’s ability to communicate with & regulate it’s organs, muscles, hormones, and more. The effect this has on the body can be profound, especially over time, so Chiropractors adjust the misalignments back into position to restore as much of the body’s natural function, movement, and healing as possible.

How long will I need care for?

This is a common question and depending on where you go that response can vary greatly. The short answer is, at Stem, you can decide! Do you have chronic health problems, or are you seeking to ’turn back the clock’, then you probably want the longer corrective care. Do you have a recent injury or are you simply looking for some pain management, then you probably want the shorter acute/relief care. Or maybe you just want to maintain a healthy lifestyle & the progress you’ve made to prevent future issues, well then regular wellness care is what you’re after (also called maintenance care). In each of these cases, chiropractic is about finding and treating the root causes of your health problems, not just the resulting symptoms.
